A MISSIONS MOMENT…
We have a “full” service this morning – (we are beginning a new series, and celebrating a baptism in the Morning Worship Service) – but I want to take a moment to reintroduce us to, Juan and Meriam Santos, who have shared the gospel for decades in the Dominican Republic, and have served along-side of Christians Broadcasting Hope since 2021. Juan is the “Spanish Voice” of Christians Broadcasting Hope reaching people, not only through Facebook – but through radio stations across North and South America!
Juan, discussing his ministry for an interview, gives us a glimpse into his heart for ministry. “I have a heart to share the gospel. Broadcasting, on radio, TV, or online, is an extension of the church for me. For different reasons, some people just won’t come into a church building—but they will listen to a broadcast. In this way, I can get inside their homes, their cars, the places where they work, and introduce them to Jesus.”
This year, our church is planning a trip to visit Juan and Meriam in the Dominican Republic. We are hoping to visit at the end of May if we can secure enough people to fill the trip – however, there are also three spots left for a trip in November with CBH Mass Media Specialist, Jarod Powell, (I will not be attending the trip in November, but you are more than welcome to go with this trusted brother in Christ). We do not know the complete cost as of yet, but we are estimating the cost between $1500-$2000, (this includes airfare, motel, and transportation) for a week of serving & witnessing this ministry up close.
