Next Sunday, John Walters, the Director of Christians Broadcasting Hope, will be here with our congregation sharing the missions and successes of the ministry. Christians Broadcasting Hope is a Church of God Ministry partner that serves with indigenous (local) ministry teams to produce evangelistic programming in 10 languages around the world. They strive to expand and nurture the Kingdom of God through the use of radio, various internet platforms, and other mass media tools. Simply, it is a wonderful ministry that continually strives to share the Gospel where it is often least heard!

While we won’t be taking up a special offering during the service, I will be drawing your attention to the “Mission Box” located at the doors of the sanctuary. All the money collected in the box thru September will go to Christians Broadcasting Hope (CBH) to help accomplish this mission. I ask you to prayerfully consider giving generously to a ministry that is able to share the gospel with so many, with so little.

At my request, I have also asked John to share about his upcoming trip to Israel and Jordan thru CBH. Every other year, Christians Broadcasting Hope shares a tour of the Holy Land with Educational Opportunities, (apart from their regular mission work). The trip includes Bethlehem, Jerusalem, the Dead Sea, Mt. Nebo, Galilee, and even Petra, (among other places). We already have four people from our congregation planning on taking this journey in January, which includes my wife and myself. Security in the region is always a concern, especially considering the recent events in the area – however, if security and safety are not acceptable, the trip will be postponed a year, and we will be offered a refund. Consider joining us as we journey to the Holy Land!
