Our Mission...

To know Jesus and to make Him known...

Matthew 28:18-20

“Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Our Vision...

To be a place where faith and life meet in Jesus...

2 Corinthians 5:17-18 (NLT)

“This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him.”

Beliefs...

We believe that God’s far more interested in relationships than “religion”. The relationship He’s MOST interested in having is the one He has with you and me. To make this possible, He came to live among us through the birth of His Son, Jesus. Jesus taught the people what God's Kingdom was really about and because of that, He was crucified to pay the price for all of mankind’s failures and sin. The Bible teaches that it’s by accepting Jesus as our Savior and asking Him to live in us and through us that we literally become “New Creations”. As Christ-followers, we’re able to make a positive difference in our home, neighborhood, and community by serving as His hands and feet on earth. Here are our beliefs...

About the Bible

We believe the entire Bible is the inspired Word of God and that men were moved by the Spirit of God to write the very words of Scripture. Therefore, we believe the Bible is without error.

About God

We believe in one God who exists in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus Christ is the second member of the Trinity (the Son of God) who became flesh to reveal God to man and to become the Savior of the lost world.

About Mankind

We believe that mankind was created in the image of God to have fellowship with Him but became alienated in that relationship through sinful disobedience. As a result, man is incapable of regaining a right relationship with God through his own effort alone.

About Salvation

We believe that the blood of Jesus, shed on the cross, provides the sole basis for the forgiveness of sin. Therefore, salvation occurs only when people place their faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus as sufficient payment for their sin.

About Baptism

The Bible is very clear about the place baptism plays in the life of every believer and it’s one of those non-negotiable steps that everyone who wants Jesus to be their Lord and Savior must take. In fact, in the Bible, this was a natural part of a person’s conversion experience. Baptism is an outward sign of an inward change. It symbolizes what took place in his/her heart at the time they surrendered their life to Jesus. It’s that place, according to Romans 6, where we bury the old life and are raised to a new one. It symbolizes being washed clean, having our sins forgiven and where we receive the gift of God’s Holy Spirit. And it’s an act of obedience that demonstrates our submission to God. The word “baptism or baptize”, means to “immerse…to dip or to plunge” and it signifies an “identification”.

About the Church

We believe that the church is the body of Christ, of which Jesus Christ is the head. The members of the church are those who have trusted by faith the finished work of Jesus. The purpose of the church is to glorify God by loving Him and by making Him known to the lost world.

Core Values...

The Bible

Without the proper foundations, every organization, individual and family will eventually drift off course. The Word of God is the final authority on all issues of life and is the ultimate source of truth intended to transform our everyday lives.

Community

Simply stated, we believe that life change happens best in the context of “Community”. We are committed to helping people get plugged into a group where they can begin to experience genuine community.

Evangelism

Witnessing isn’t something that we do, it is what we are. We believe that intentionally fostering relationships with people that are far from God is the most natural context for evangelism.

Service

Every individual is gifted to serve. We believe that ministry happens best as a unified community of servants come together to express their spiritual gifts. Strategic service places the time, talents, and energies of people at the place of critical need and passion.

Outreach

Being involved in the community we live in is an important priority for us as a church. We want to be available to help not only those in need but to volunteer and help with the community events that our city puts on. This enables us to be Jesus in a variety of settings.
